A. Do you support inclusion of the following neighborhoods in the final conservation overlay zone that will create the Milwaukee River Greenway? (Yes or No)

3. Around WTMJ on Capitol Drive and north to Glendale city limits:

4. Extension out to Newhall from Newport to Riverside HS, including the HS, continuing down Newhall to North Ave.

B. If you agree to adding some or all of these areas to the final overlay, please weigh in on the following. Since tall buildings at some of these locations wouldn’t be seen from the river corridor, and therefore wouldn't affect the viewshed, why do you think these areas should be included? Please list your reasons.

The MRWG has been working with the City of Milwaukee to establish a Milwaukee River Greenway to protect and enhance wildlife habitat, water quality, and the viewshed from the river valley. When the Common Council approved a two year study of the greenway in May 07 the map of the overlay was drawn (refer to yellow lines on the map). Many neighborhoods and individuals are advocating for an expansion of the map to include the areas you see in (refer to red lines on the map). The zoning restrictions don't apply to any existing structure, or construction of single family or duplex dwellings.
